The Beginning

Hola everyone! I have been meaning to start this blog for some time now--better late than never, I guess. I can't believe I have already been in Europe for about a month! It's been quite the whirlwind already, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Here is a recap of the last month:

January 7-9:
Enjoyed a brief stopover in London where I met the group of students who would also be studying in Salamanca. We crammed a lot into just a couple of days! We went on a tour of London and stopped to see Buckingham Palace, London Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, and Westminster Abbey. I also got to cross Abbey Road which was worth nearly getting run over several times! (I learned that the London drivers aren't so amused by the hundreds of tourists who continually clog the crosswalk). I would love to go back! (Maybe for the royal wedding in April?)
